Todays guest Dev Singh is the founder of The Life:Optimized Show – Optimizing Your Business, Leadership & Life.

The interview with Dev was so intriguing and eye opening that I actually ended up taking a 45 minute booking on for 2 hours. So we decided to break the content up into a 2 part series. Each episode running for 60 minutes.

The information Dev shared is exactly what everyone going into online business needs to know, but so few people are willing to share, a lot of this is the content that the big boys and girls keep to themselves and only share with their $30,000 a year mastermind groups.

Dev has spent lot’s of time in the internet marketing world and the business education world. He has also been lucky enough to spend lots of time behind the scenes of the platform selling arena of the IM world where the big boys and girls create their BIG pay days.

What he discovered was that there is a massive amount of seductive and persuasive magic dust used in the industry that isn’t taught until you get to the very top of marketers ascension models. The message Dev is trying to spread is there is a lot more work to be done to make your business really work.

There are a number of ethical manipulations that are being used on you and if you really want to make business work for you then you need to either learn them and apply them to your business or learn how to sell authentically separating yourself from the crowd building a smaller customer base but a very strong customer base.

Current Business:

Dev is a global strategist.

He works with major brands, entrepreneurs, experts and thought leaders to help them develop their business strategy, their sales pieces, copy writing and marketing messages.

Location Independent Strategy:

Dev suggests that making money online is simpler than most people believe it to be or often make it in their own minds; but harder than it’s sold to be. All you need to do is research markets, work out the serious pain points that people are experiencing. Then create products to solve those problems. Put sales pages live that uses the same language people in the market are using to explain their problems and the more pages you put live the more winners you will find.

Dev feels that his most valuable skill is being able to connect with people on a very genuine level. Dev believes that when you come from a place that is honest, caring and having a genuine desire to help people achieve the success they are seeking that people will naturally want to work with you. Even though sometimes they won’t be able to explain exactly why that that’s the case.

The most interesting thing that he revealed though is that so much more powerful than everything those guys talked about is authenticity and being who you are in every situation. Being totally and completely who you are and never needing to put on a face or a mask ever
